This was a very special production for us as it was the production that created the Leading Light Theatre Company. And also something that was and still is extremely close to the hearts for both cast and crew.

Our process was handled extremely delicately as we wanted to bring some of our memories into the piece. Digging through physical insecurities and negative school memories, taking control of our past and bettering ourselves for the future. We are all constantly judged through our image of how a woman should look and act. GIRLS LIKE THAT opens an audience’s eye – we should never judge a book by the cover.
