Excellence are an ever growing platform showcasing the work of black British creatives. Our industry is changing, the voices are getting louder. We are creating a space where artists are driven to produce work that is strong, courageous and unapologetically black. Beginning with a two day scratch festival hosting the voices of black writers. While producing events that allow black artists to share their work we will also be posting opportunities that other organisations are creating for them; such as casting, workshops and performances.

 

Our sold out scratch festival, Dear Black People, a collaboration with The Pleasance Theatre, showcased eight black playwrights over the course of two nights!
